Pablo Escobar profile by Mental Floss →
The profits were astronomical at every step. In 1978 each kilo probably cost Escobar $2,000 but sold to Lehder and Jung for $22,000, clearing Escobar $20,000 per kilo.

One more day.
I am one (1) day away from the 14 day “Don’t you dare log back on,” Facebook date. Think I’m good to go, and Facebook free.

Ditching Facebook, a test of will
I realized the other day that all I do is waste time on Facebook, but that’s OK, I also realized that a majority of the time I’m ranting to family and friends about what a terrible company Facebook is. I hate the site, I hate the privacy policies, and I guess I kinda dislike that it’s a time sink. Kinda.
If I can manage to not log in to Facebook for 14 days, it’s gone....

Sometimes I drag a track into a new playlist and set it to repeat because I figure I’ll be adding more as I listen, and I end up stuck, just looping that song until I realize it’s time to probably add some more music.

I am working on a Magazine: ResultJelly.com for that whole thing. I’m also writing a series of stories inspired by my favorite Hip Hop called Astrotravelin’. Astrotravelin.com is the place for that business. I’m also still doing exasperated.org, though more slowly.

That's not a shoe.
Females seem to have a habit of finding stupid things, putting them on their feet, and calling them shoes. They even hobble and limp around pretending they are shoes, until they can no longer take the pain. Then, they take them off and go barefoot remarking, ‘My shoes were killing me,’ as if they still have some hope of convincing anyone those things were shoes.

Oh, Arizona
Me: Going on vacation! Getting out of this state!
Arizona: Why would you want to leave? It’s great here, right?
Me: Yea, right, great. It’s like stepping into a broiler leaving the house.
Arizona: Nah, man, it’s not that hot. And, it’s a dry heat?
Me: Whatever, Arizona, I have physical burn marks on my hands after touching my steering wheel today.
Arizona: That sounds...

Can’t stop watching Wilcox Sessions. Moby’s new album is good stuff, digging this acoustic version of The Day.
The Library at Night
It’s a stolen title. It’s a book by Alberto Manguel. I picked it up when I still worked at B&N, the title alone was evocative enough to purchase without even flipping through the book itself. It’s such a nice picture for such a short description. If you like books about books, it’s a gem.
Anyway, I’m writing again. It’s going better than it has before and...

New blog, new domain, new lazy platform.
Here we go! Trying out Tumblr rather than building and hosting my own Wordpress. Let’s see if I keep this thing up to date.
